At Baxton Studio Sales Shop, we design our mid-century modern furniture with your satisfaction in mind. Just as we craft our modular sofas and storage pieces with precision, we’ve created this straightforward returns process to ensure your complete happiness with every purchase.

Key Details: You may return or exchange most items within 15 days of delivery. All returns must be in original, unused condition with original packaging. Custom-configured modular furniture may not be returnable (see exceptions below).

Our Simple 3-Step Process

1. Initiate Your Return/Exchange

Contact our design-conscious customer service team within 15 days of delivery at [email protected] with:

  • Your order number
  • Item(s) you wish to return/exchange
  • Reason for return (helps us improve our collections)
  • Photos if the item arrived damaged

2. Receive Return Authorization

Within 2 business days, we’ll email you:

  • Return authorization number
  • Prepaid return shipping label (for damaged/defective items)
  • Instructions for packaging your return

Note: For non-defective returns, return shipping costs ($12.95) will be deducted from your refund.

3. Ship Your Return

Carefully repackage your item(s) using the original packaging materials. Affix the provided label and drop off at any DHL/FedEx location. For exchanges, please indicate your preferred replacement item in your initial email.

Refund Processing

Once we receive and inspect your return:

  • Timing: Refunds are processed within 5 business days of receipt
  • Method: Funds will be returned to your original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal)
  • Notification: You’ll receive an email confirmation when processed

Note: Depending on your financial institution, it may take 2-3 additional business days for the refund to appear on your statement.

Exchange Processing

For exchanges:

  • We’ll ship your replacement item once the original is received
  • Standard shipping fees apply for the new item
  • Price differences will be charged/refunded as needed

Non-Returnable Items

To maintain quality standards, these items cannot be returned:

  • Custom-configured modular sofa systems (due to their personalized nature)
  • Items not in original condition (damaged, stained, or with missing parts)
  • Clearance or final sale items (marked as such at purchase)

Damaged or Defective Items

If your mid-century modern piece arrives damaged:

  1. Document the damage with photos within 48 hours of delivery
  2. Contact us immediately at [email protected]
  3. We’ll arrange free return shipping and expedite your replacement

Designer Tip: Our loveseats and end tables often ship disassembled. Before initiating a return for “missing parts,” please check all packaging materials thoroughly as some components may be discreetly packaged.
